The Realize Record Label Institute will launch its third year in September 2010.
New locations include Nashville, Tennessee and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The program is geared towards students who want to work professionally in the
music business, musicians who want to learn how to handle their own affairs and
students who wish to open their own label without having to spend hundred of
thousands of dollars.
Classes will begin on September 7th 2010 (Tuesdays) at 7:00PM. Space is limited.
Each month consist of 4 two hour sessions. Students will also correspond with
Realize Records staff members through out the week. All students will be
required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Students must commit to the full year. Discounts are available if year is paid
in full.

As a student of the program you will become part of the staff at an active indie
label and be involved in and learn what it takes to become an A&R executive
or a scout. Experience signing artists though the choosing of songs in
pre-production, to production coordinating for the studio. See and be a part of
real decision making at the label and how it influences the product. Follow the
product through graphic design, marketing and production. Work on marketing and
promotion of product through online outlets, print, and radio promotions. Work
with development of street teams. Work one on one with signed artists on their
cd release parties, bookings and touring. Work side by side with music industry
professionals and signed artists.
If you want to work within the music business, own your own record label, learn
how to take control of your music career or just familiarize yourself with the
industry but don’t want to spend four year and hundreds of thousands of
dollars, this is the program for you.

Student who commit to the full year will graduate with a professional credit on
a nationally released cd in the music industry and a certificate of completion.
The label hires directly from within the Label Institute.
Monthly tuition is $195.00 per month
